End of support for LINE app versions earlier than 14.6.3 (iOS/iPadOS) and earlier than 14.4.6 (Android OS)

We plan to end support for LINE app versions earlier than 14.6.3 for iOS/iPadOS and earlier than 14.4.6 for Android OS in early November 2026.

You can continue using LINE by keeping your device's OS and the LINE app up to date.

Be advised

You may need to update your OS to update the LINE app.
If you're unable to update your OS or the LINE app, please consider using LINE on another device running a supported OS version.

Using LINE on smartphones and tablets

iOS and iPadOS version 15.0 or later/Android OS version 8.0 or later

You can continue using LINE by updating the LINE app to version 14.6.3 or later if you're using iOS or iPadOS, or to version 14.4.6 or later if you're using Android OS.

If you're unable to update the LINE app on a device running a supported OS version, please contact your OS provider.

iOS and iPadOS version 14.8.1 or earlier/Android OS version 7.1.2 or earlier

You can use LINE by following the steps below.

Steps

Update iOS or iPadOS to version 15.0 or later or Android OS to version 8.0 or later.
Update the LINE app to the latest version.

Using LINE on Apple Watches

watchOS version 8.0 or later

You can continue using LINE by updating the LINE app on your paired iPhone to version 14.6.3 or later.

watchOS version 7.6.2 or earlier

You can continue using LINE by following the steps below.

Steps

Update your iPhone to iOS version 15.0 or later.
Update your Apple Watch to watchOS version 8.0 or later.
Update the LINE app on your paired iPhone to version 14.6.3 or later.
