If you enable auto adding of friends from your device’s contacts, the names that they are saved under in your device’s contacts will be shown.
In the following cases, the friend that you see on your LINE friends list may be a different person from who you think they are.
• The owner of the phone number has changed.
• You have multiple phone numbers saved under the same person’s name in your contacts.
• The wrong phone number is registered in your contacts.
Please check if your friend's phone number is up to date and accurate, and that you do not have multiple phone numbers saved for the same friend.
