LINE Pay is a digital wallet service for your smartphone offered by LINE. You can use it to shop both online and offline by adding money to your account in advance.

For details about using LINE Pay, please see this blog entry (only available in Japanese).
Note: To sign up for LINE Pay, you need a LINE account that is registered with a Japanese phone number.

By verifying your identity, you can convert your LINE Cash account to a LINE Money account, and get access to features for sending and withdrawing money.

There are no service charges for making payments with LINE Pay, adding money to your LINE Pay balance, or sending money to friends on LINE.

However, there are service charges for the following features:

• LINE Pay balance withdrawals: JPY 220 per withdrawal
• Wire transfers: JPY 176 per transfer
• Scan Bill payments

There are also separate service charges for merchants using LINE Pay. For details, see the LINE Pay Merchant website.

Apakah LINE Pay aman? toggle

Untuk menghindari terjadinya penyalahgunaan akun LINE Pay oleh pihak ketiga, Anda bisa membuat kata sandi yang berbeda dengan kata sandi untuk akun LINE.
Dengan membuat kata sandi yang berbeda, akun LINE Pay Anda akan tetap terjaga, meskipun ponsel Anda rusak atau dicuri.
Catatan: Jika akun LINE Pay Anda belum dilindungi dengan kata sandi, silakan buat kata sandi agar Anda dapat menggunakannya dengan aman.

Lindungi informasi saldo dan kartu Anda dengan menyalakan fitur Kunci Kata Sandi.

Silakan lihat cara untuk menyalakan kunci kata sandi pada langkah di bawah ini.

1. Ketuk menu utama LINE Pay Pengaturan > Kata Sandi
2. Nyalakan Kunci Kata Sandi

LINE Pay menerapkan sistem pengkodean (enkripsi) tingkat tinggi untuk melindungi informasi pribadi serta informasi pembayaran Anda untuk menghindari kemungkinan pencurian kata sandi (phising). LINE Pay juga menerapkan fitur pengecekan dua kali lipat dengan menggunakan informasi pengguna dan informasi pendaftaran LINE Pay.


Saat melakukan pembayaran, LINE Pay di ponsel Anda akan dibuka, dan pembayaran baru bisa diselesaikan setelah Anda melakukan proses di ponsel.
Pada saat proses tersebut berlangsung, informasi profil LINE Anda akan ditampilkan di bagian atas layar dan Anda bisa memastikan bahwa telah terjadi pembayaran dengan menggunakan LINE Pay.


Catatan: Informasi profil LINE Anda tidak akan muncul jika situs bersangkutan adalah situs palsu.

Jika ponsel Anda hilang, Anda bisa menghubungi kami untuk menonaktifkan akun LINE Pay, jadi Anda tidak perlu merasa khawatir.
Untuk mengaktifkannya kembali, Anda bisa melakukannya sendiri langsung dari ponsel Anda.

There are two types of LINE Pay accounts: LINE Cash and LINE Money. The features available depend on which account type you have.
Note: You can also make payments using LINE Pay without signing up for an account. For details, see this Help article.

LINE Cash account
When you sign up for LINE Pay, you get a LINE Cash account. With this account type, you can make purchases using your LINE Pay balance (once you've added money to it) or a registered credit card. You can also have a LINE Pay card issued, which can be used for making payments at JCB merchants.

A LINE Cash account also lets you:
• Request money from friends on LINE
• Request to split bills with friends on LINE
Note: You can only send requests with a LINE Cash account, and you cannot send money or pay split bills yourself.

LINE Money account
When you verify your identity with LINE Pay, your LINE Cash account becomes a LINE Money account.

In addition to the features of a LINE Cash account, a LINE Money account lets you:
• Send money to friends on LINE
• Make withdrawals from your LINE Pay balance
• Make wire transfers

Cara melakukan verifikasi identitas agar dapat menggunakan LINE Money toggle

To use LINE Money, you need to first verify your identity.

From the LINE Pay main menu, tap Settings > Identity Verification and choose one of the three verification methods listed below.
Note: 
- If you haven't set a passcode, you'll need to set one after agreeing to the Terms of Use.
- Your request to verify your identity will be canceled if you unsuccessfully try to transfer your LINE account (e.g. after changing devices).

• Bank account verification
Verify your identity by linking your bank account to LINE Pay. See this Help article for details.

• Verify your identity online
Use any of the acceptable forms of ID mentioned below and follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.
Note:
- This option may not be available on some devices.
- You will need to take a photo of the side of your ID (laid flat). Refer to the video below for instructions on how to do so.


• Postal verification
Follow the on-screen instructions and take a photo of one of the acceptable forms of ID mentioned below. A postcard will then be sent by surface mail to your registered address, which you can use for verification.
Note:
- It may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for the postcard to arrive.
- Follow the instructions on the postcard to complete the registration process.

Use any of the following photo IDs when verifying your identity online or with a postcard:
- Driver's license
- 運転経歴証明書 (driving history certificate)
- Japanese passport
- Individual Number (My Number) Card
Note: The notification card for your Individual Number is not accepted.
- Residence card
- Special permanent resident certificate

Once you've completed verifying your identity with either the "Verify Your Identity Online" or "Postal Verification" method, you'll receive a notification from the LINE Pay identity verification account and you'll be able to send money and use other LINE Money services.
Note: You need to use LINE version 9.7 or later (Android) to verify your identity with these two options.

Saat mengakses LINE Pay, harap cek juga Rekomendasi perangkat untuk menjalankan LINE.

Untuk mengatur ulang kata sandi, kamu akan menerima nomor verifikasi melalui panggilan suara.
Oleh karena itu, daftarkan nomor telepon yang bisa digunakan untuk melakukan panggilan suara ke akun LINE.

Cara menautkan rekening bank ke LINE Pay toggle
(Hanya tersedia dalam bahasa Inggris)​

To Link your bank account:
1. From the LINE Pay menu, tap Add Money > Bank Account.
2. Select your bank from the list.
Note: Japan Post Bank account users need to verify their identities from September 27, 2017. If you linked a Japan Post Bank account before 6 pm on September 27, 2017, you don't need to verify your identity.
3. Enter the required information.
Note:
- Make sure to enter the bank account holder's name.
- If a middle name appears in the bank account holder's name, please enter it in either the first or last name field.

After selecting your bank, please complete its registration process. If you have any questions about the steps on the bank website, we ask that you contact the bank directly for assistance.

Once your bank account is linked to your LINE Pay account, your identity will be verified and you can start using LINE Money.
