Useful info
The background and filter you set before starting a video call can be changed by clicking at the bottom left of the call screen. To remove a background, click > Backgrounds > and select at the top left of the list.
Useful settings for voice and video calls: Displaying more participants on a group video call screen
1. At the bottom of the main menu, click > Settings.
2. Click Calls.
3. Check the box next to Display up to 49 participants in grid view.
You can use the feature for displaying more participants on a group video call screen if your device meets the system requirements below.
• External graphics cards
- 2 core CPU or better
- 1.5 GHz or higher
• Intel onboard graphics cards
- 4 core CPU or better
- 1.5 GHz or higher
Changing the size and position of the incoming call screen
To change the size and position of the incoming call screen, see the steps below.
Note: The small screen notification that appears at the bottom right of your PC screen can be used with the latest version of LINE.
To change the size and position of the incoming call screen:
1. At the bottom of the main menu, click > Settings.
2. Click Calls and check/uncheck Show notifications for incoming calls.
Leave Show notifications for incoming calls checked if you prefer incoming calls to be displayed as small notifications at the bottom right of the screen.
Features you can use during voice or video calls:
During voice/video calls, you can use various features such as sharing the screen you're looking at, reacting with stickers, and changing your background.
See the following sections for the steps on how to use each feature.
Sharing your screen in video calls
1. At the bottom of the screen, click .
2. Click .
3. Choose the screen you want to share and click Share.
To stop sharing your screen, click Stop sharing.
Note: You cannot stop a screen or video that's being shared by another participant.
Sharing YouTube videos in video calls
To share a YouTube video in a group video call, follow the steps below.
Note: Some videos cannot be played.
To share a YouTube video in a group video call:
1. Switch away from the group video call and copy the YouTube video or playlist URL you want to share.
2. Go back to the group video call.
3. At the bottom of the screen, click > .
4. Click Play.
To stop sharing a YouTube video, click Stop sharing.
Note: You cannot stop a video that's being shared by another participant.
Using stickers in video calls
1. Click the video call screen.
2. Click at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select the sticker you want to use.
You can use the following sticker types:
Note: Sound stickers, some sticker sets, and emoji cannot be used.
• LINE and BT21 official stickers
• Effect stickers
• Message and custom stickers
• Big stickers
• Creators' stickers
• Animated stickers
• Pop-up stickers
Useful info
- Stickers used in video calls appear on the screen for five seconds.
- Animated stickers appear until their animation finishes.

LINE meetings let you make group video calls with other LINE users by sharing a URL. It doesn't matter if you've added the users as friends or not.
Note: LINE meetings can be used with the latest version of LINE.
Creating and deleting LINE meetings
1. From the main menu, click .
2. Click Create meeting.
Note:
- The meeting will appear in the meeting list as "XXXX's meeting," with the display name of the user who created it.
- You can edit the meeting name by clicking .
To delete a meeting you created, go to your meeting list and click next to the meeting you want to delete > Delete.
Inviting others to LINE meetings
To invite friends:
• Click Invite and select the people you want to join your meeting.
• Use an invitation link by clicking Copy link and sharing it with the people you want to invite.
Note: Users that aren't your friends on LINE can also join the meeting from the invitation link.
Starting meetings
1. Click the link you received.
Note: The meeting's creator can also click Start from the meeting list.
2. On the preview screen, turn your camera and microphone ON or OFF.
Note:
- You can set a background or filter on the preview screen.
- If you choose to join without video, your profile icon will be shown instead.
- You can join a meeting with your microphone turned off and then turn it on later.
3. Confirm that you agree to have your display name and profile photo shown.
You can use the following features on the screen after starting a meeting.
: Check, invite, or remove meeting participants
: Mute/unmute your microphone
: Stop/start your camera
: Set a background, filter, etc.
: Share your screen
To leave a meeting, go to the bottom of the meeting screen and click Leave meeting > Leave.
Note: The meeting will end when all participants leave.
Removing users from LINE meetings
If the participant of a meeting is behaving inappropriately, you can remove them by following the steps below.
To remove someone from a LINE meeting:
1. Click at the bottom of the meeting screen.
2. Click next to the participant you want to remove.
3. Click Remove on the confirmation pop-up.
If the person keeps joining after you remove them, please delete the meeting and create a new one.
Note: Be careful not to invite that person to the new meeting.
