LINE Labs lets you use features in advance that may be released as official services in the future.
Features offered in LINE Labs
The following features are offered in LINE Labs.
Features available on both iOS and Android devices
- Chat folders
- Silent messaging
- Message edit (Only available in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand; linked articles are in local languages only)
Features only available on iOS devices
- Open links in your default browser
- Search for media in
chat
You can only use this feature if your device is running iOS 15 or later.
Turning on LINE Labs features
To enable features offered in LINE Labs, see the steps below.
- In the LINE app on your main device, tap the Home tab >
> LINE Labs. - Turn on the features you want to use.
iPad
- In the LINE app on your sub device, tap Settings > LINE Labs.
- Turn on the features you want to use.
Android
- In the LINE app on your sub device, tap the Home
tab > > LINE
Labs.
- Turn on the features you want to use.
