[Update] [Android] Issues with sending/receiving photos and videos in chats and issues with stickers, emoji, and themes

We have confirmed that the following issues that were occurring with the LINE app on Android devices have been fixed in Android 16 QPR2 and later.


Please update your device's software to Android 16 QPR2 or later.

Examples of issues that were occurring

  • Being unable to send or receive videos and photos
  • Seeing an error message saying "An unknown error occurred" after sending a photo
  • Seeing an error message saying "Insufficient free space" after tapping camera icon when trying to send a photo and being unable to use the feature
  • Stickers, emoji, and themes not appearing and being unable to download them
  • The screen turning black when starting the camera in the LINE app
