[Android] Issues with sending/receiving photos and videos in chats and issues with stickers, emoji, and themes

We have confirmed that the following issues are currently occurring with the LINE app on Android devices after updating to Android OS 16. Please wait for an OS software update for your device.

Examples of issues that are occurring

  • Being unable to send or receive videos and photos
  • Seeing an error message saying "An unknown error occurred" after sending a photo
  • Seeing an error message saying "Insufficient free space" after tapping camera icon when trying to send a photo and being unable to use the feature
  • Stickers, emoji, and themes not being reflected/not appearing and being unable to download them
