Detecting phishing sites (fraudulent websites) sent in chats

You can use this feature on devices aside from LINE for Chrome sub devices.

You can have LINE detect phishing sites sent in chats and display a warning message when the link for one is tapped. To configure this feature, refer to the steps below.

Be advised

If you turn this setting on, Letter Sealing will no longer be applied to links.
You can only use this feature when URL previews are turned on.

Steps

In the LINE app on your main device, tap the Home tab > > Chats.
Turn on Phishing site detection.
