Purchasing/using stickers and emoji

Purchasing stickers and emoji toggle
Stickers and emoji can be purchased on a PC or smartphone.

If you're using a PC:
Stickers and emoji can be purchased on LINE STORE.
Note: For information about LINE STORE, see this Help page.

You can access the purchase screen using either of the following methods.

• Click a sticker or emoji sent by a friend in a chat.
• Click the sticker icon at the bottom right of the text box > the store icon at the top left of the screen.

If you're using a smartphone:

Changing the order of your sticker and emoji sets toggle
To change the order in which your sticker and emoji sets appear: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen.
Note: If you're using LINE Stickers Premium, click My Stickers.
3. Click the Stickers or Emoji tab.
4. Click and hold the icon to the left of an item, then drag the item to your preferred location.

Hiding/showing sticker and emoji sets toggle
To hide a sticker or emoji set: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen.
Note: If you're using LINE Stickers Premium, click My Stickers.
3. Click the Stickers or Emoji tab.
4. Click the hide icon to the right of the item.

To unhide a set, click the show icon to the right of it. You can also unhide all of the sticker and emoji sets on the page by clicking Show all.

Where to view your sticker and emoji sets toggle
To view your sticker and emoji sets: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen.
Note: If you're using LINE Stickers Premium, click My Stickers.
3. Click the Stickers or Emoji tab and check your items.

Sticker and emoji suggestion toggle
The suggest feature displays stickers and emoji that match the text you enter, letting you quickly choose the sticker or emoji that you want.
Note: Some stickers and emoji are not compatible with this feature.

To use the suggest feature: 
1. At the bottom of the main menu, click "..." > Settings.
2. Click Chats.
3. Under Sticker suggestions, check the box next to Display suggestions.

If you want to add a language to use with the suggest feature, click the download icon next to that language in the Add languages column. The languages you've already downloaded appear in the Language column.

Using purchased stickers/emoji toggle
To use stickers or emoji that you've purchased: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the stickers/emoji you purchased to download them.

Checking stickers with expiration dates toggle
You can check which stickers will expire soon or have already expired from your sticker selection list in a chat.

Stickers with a yellow badge will expire within 10 days.
The number of days remaining will appear at the bottom of the sticker tab.

Stickers with a red badge have already expired.
They will be deleted automatically 20 days after the expiration date or when you tap the sticker tab and move to another tab.

Custom stickers toggle
Custom stickers let you personalize them by adding your own captions.

You can purchase custom stickers on a PC or on your smartphone.

You can also edit captions for custom stickers after downloading them. For the steps to edit custom sticker captions, see this Help article.

Editing captions for custom stickers toggle
You can edit the captions for custom stickers as many times as you like.

To edit a caption: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the custom stickers you want to edit from your list of sticker sets.
Note: Custom sticker sets are marked with a "T" badge.
3. Click Edit caption at the bottom of the sticker set.
4. Enter a new caption and click Save.

Note:
- The character limit for captions varies by sticker set.
- Editing a caption does not affect stickers that have already been sent.

Message stickers toggle
Message stickers let you personalize them by adding full sentences (up to 100 characters, including spaces).

You can preview how your text will look before purchasing message stickers. See this Help article for more information.

Message stickers can be purchased just like any other type of sticker. For the steps to purchase message stickers, see this Help article.

Editing message stickers toggle
You can change the text in message stickers as many times as you like.

To edit a message sticker: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the message stickers you want to edit from your list of sticker sets.
Note: Message sticker sets are marked with a pencil badge.
3. Click the pencil badge for the sticker you want to edit.
4. Enter your text and click Save.

Note:
- You can enter up to 100 characters (including spaces).
- Editing text will not affect message stickers that have already been sent.

Your new text will be saved in the sent message sticker so it can be used again in the future.

About LINE Stickers Premium toggle
LINE Stickers Premium is a flat-rate subscription service that gives you unlimited use of a variety of Premium stickers and emoji without having to purchase them.

You can save up to five eligible sticker sets with the Basic course, or up to 1,000 eligible sticker and emoji sets with the Deluxe course.

1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen > My Premium stickers.

To delete a Premium sticker or emoji set that you've downloaded: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen > My Premium stickers.
3. Click the Stickers or Emoji tab.
4. Click the delete icon to the right of the item.
5. Click Delete.
Note: The Emoji tab will only appear with a Deluxe course (plan).

To re-download a sticker or emoji set that you deleted: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen > Premium download history.
3. Click the Stickers or Emoji tab.
4. Click the download icon to the right of the item.
Note: The Emoji tab will only appear with a Deluxe course (plan).

Using your old stickers and emoji after signing up for a LINE Stickers Premium course (plan) again toggle
To use the Premium sticker and emoji sets that you downloaded before: 
1. Click the sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen > My Premium stickers.
3. Click the Stickers or Emoji tab.
4. Click the show icon to the right of the item.

Note:
- The Emoji tab will only appear with a Deluxe course (plan).
- If you canceled your plan and signed up again before the plan expired, you don't need to follow the steps above to keep using your stickers and emoji.
