Logging in and performance issues toggle
If you are having logging in or performance issues, first check which version of LINE you can use on your PC here, then try the following:

Windows and Mac version of LINE
• Uninstall the PC or Mac version of LINE and then reinstall it.
• Restart your computer.
• Temporarily disable any firewalls or security software you have in place or allow LINE to connect to the internet.
• Disable any resident or customization software such as WindowsBlinds.

Windows 10 version of LINE
• Update the Windows 10 version of the LINE app.
• Restart your PC.
• Temporarily disable any firewalls or security software you have in place or allow LINE to connect to the internet.
• Disable any resident or customization software such as WindowsBlinds.

Chrome version of LINE
• Uninstall the Chrome version of LINE and then reinstall it.
• Update the Chrome browser.
Note: If you're using Chrome OS, please also try updating the OS.
• Disable background internet connected apps and extensions.
• Delete your cache and browsing history.

Which versions of LINE can I use on PC? toggle
You can use the following versions of LINE on PC. The versions of LINE available to you will vary depending on your OS, so make sure to only check the information relevant to the OS you're using.

Note: You need to download the Google Chrome browser in order to install the Chrome version of LINE.

I see a verification code to verify my identity toggle
We have added enhanced security to prevent unauthorized logins from the Windows 10 version of LINE.

If you see a verification code when you log in to the Windows 10 version of LINE, you will need it to verify your identity on the smartphone version of LINE.

Please follow the steps below on your smartphone.

1. Start the Windows 10 version of LINE.
2. Enter your email address and password and click Log in.
3. A 4 digit verification code will appear.
4. Start the smartphone version of LINE and enter the verification code that appears on the Windows 10 version of LINE.
