Payment Overview

Making payments for a paid plan or Premium ID toggle
Please make payments for LINE@ from the Account Information section on the LINE@ Manager for PC, or from the Business Store.

You can use LINE Pay (payments with a credit card), credit cards, or invoice billing as your payment method.

Note: Monthly plans are not prorated and calculated based on the number of days used. For this reason, we recommend purchasing the plan at the beginning of the month.

LINE Pay payments
When making a purchase with LINE Pay, only credit card payments are accepted. The Paymaster must sign up for LINE Pay with their LINE app account and register a credit card beforehand. For more details, please refer to the LINE Pay Help page regarding credit cards here.

Credit card payments
Only LINE@ users in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia can make payments with a credit card. For more details, please see the Help article here.

Invoice billing service (請求書)
This option is only available for LINE@ users with accounts verified in Japan. For more details, please see the Help article here. (Only available in Japanese.)

What is the Business Store? toggle
The Business Store is a service for smartphones which allows you to purchase things such as a Premium ID and monthly plans.

If you are using LINE@ on a smartphone and wish to purchase a Premium ID or monthly plan, please refer to the steps below to access the Business Store.

Android version of LINE@
Go to the Manage tab > Business Store.

iOS version of LINE@
If you are using the LINE@ app on iOS, please access the Business Store from your smartphone's browser via the URL below:

Only users with Paymaster privileges can purchase paid services for LINE@. Only one Paymaster can be assigned to a single LINE@ account among users with Administrator or Operations personnel authority.

Paying for LINE@ services with a credit card toggle
The option to pay with a credit card is only available for LINE@ users in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Note: The option will not appear if you access the Business Store from a tablet.

Accepted credit card types
VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, Diners

Please register the credit card number, expiration date, and security code (CVV/CVC).

To make payments with a credit card, you must have a phone number registered on the LINE app. To register a phone number, start the LINE app and go to More > Settings > Account > Phone number.

Can I have receipts issued? toggle

For LINE@ users in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia, if you choose to make purchases with a credit card, please use the billing statement that is issued from your respective credit card company as a formal receipt.


The merchant name and/or location name on your billing statement will appear as LINE Pay. If your credit card was issued by a Japanese card company, it may show up as ラインペイ (LINE Pay).
