Note: LINE Beacon is only available in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.
You can use LINE Beacon if you meet the following conditions.
• Turn Bluetooth ON in your smartphone settings.
• From LINE, tap Settings > Privacy > Provide usage data, and turn LINE Beacon ON.
• From your smartphone settings, allow your location to be shared with LINE.
Note: Depending on the device you're using, turning off location information in LINE may affect operation (e.g. operation may be restricted on iOS devices, LINE Beacon can't be used on Android devices).
When you have the above settings configured and are near a store or station that uses LINE Beacon, you can get the following on LINE:
• Information related to new products and services.
• Special messages with coupons, information about sales, and more
Note: You need to add the relevant store or service's official account as a friend on LINE to receive this information.
Checking a record of your recent LINE Beacon interactions
You can check LINE Beacon-related information that you received from the past 31 days from LINE Beacon access log.
To check your LINE Beacon access log:
1. From the Home tab, tap Settings > Privacy.
2. Tap Provide usage data > LINE Beacon access log.
The access log shows:
• The date of your LINE Beacon interactions.
• The profile photos of official accounts.
• The names of official accounts.
• Information about the locations where LINE Beacon devices are installed.
