To create a group from a multi-person chat:

1. Tap the menu icon at the top of the chat screen.

2. Tap Settings > Create group, or Create a group to use next to Albums/Notes.

3. Select the friends you want to add and tap Next.

4. Enter a name, set a profile photo, and then tap Create.

Note: Messages from the multi-person chat will not be transferred to the group. To view your past messages, you'll still need to check the multi-person chat.

To watch a YouTube video that was shared in a group chat, see the steps below.

Note: This feature can be used on Android from LINE version 13.6.0. If you're using an Android device and it shows an error, update the LINE app.

1. Tap Share screen in call on the YouTube video preview message shared in the chat.

2. Select Voice call or Video call to start a call and watch the video with chat members.

Note: If you played a YouTube video in a chat, tap the screen share icon to share it.

If you have URL previews turned off, the Share screen in call option will not appear. For information about setting URL previews, see the following Help article.

Note: The Share screen in call button at the bottom of YouTube video preview messages is only processed and created on your device, and not on LINE's servers.
