To go along with the consumption tax rate increase that went into effect in October 2019, the Japanese government has initiated a program offering point rebates for cashless payments made at participating merchants until June 30, 2020. This measure is meant to help offset any decrease in demand, accelerate the use of cashless payment methods, and improve consumer convenience.

When you use LINE Pay, you'll get 5% back in Points for payments made at participating small and mid-size merchants, and 2% back for payments made at franchise stores.
Note: For information on the rebate rates for each merchant, see their in-store posters or notices.

Points are also issued for the My Level incentive program, so you can get a total of up to 7% back in rebates.

If you didn't receive Points for the cashless payment rebate program, check if:
• You used an acceptable payment method.
• You reached your limit for cashless payment rebates.
• The payment was canceled or refunded.

Note: At some convenience stores and other merchants, you may get an immediate 2% discount on your purchase instead of Points. You can confirm this by going to History from the LINE Pay main menu.

If you make payments with a LINE Pay card or Google Pay, your Points for them will be issued together at a later date.

LINE Pay Bonus is a type of point that can be used with LINE Pay. Bonuses are awarded to users for things like promotions.

You can use your LINE Pay Bonus for:
• My Code payments
• Online payments
• Scan Bill payments
Note: 
- You can also use your LINE Pay Bonus together with your LINE Pay balance and LINE Points.
- LINE Pay Bonuses cannot be used to pay for taxes and some utility fees.

You cannot use your LINE Pay Bonus for:
• LINE Pay card or QUICPay+ payments
• LINE Smart Invest
• LINE Insurance
• BITMAX
• LINE Pocket Money
• Coke ON Pay-compatible vending machines
• Tappiness vending machines
• LINE Pay's "Exchange Money" feature
• The "Currency exchange via Korean ATM" feature
• Withdrawing money
• Split bill payments
Note: LINE Pay Bonuses cannot be converted to your LINE Pay balance.

Payments made with your LINE Pay Bonus also count towards your monthly use of LINE Pay, earning you even more LINE Points based on your level.

You can also send Bonuses you received to other friends on LINE.

Making payments with your LINE Pay Bonus

If you have a LINE Pay Bonus when you make a payment, it will be used before your regular balance.

Example: Making a payment for JPY 1,000
If you have a LINE Pay Bonus worth JPY 500 and JPY 1,000 in your LINE Pay balance; the JPY 500 Bonus and JPY 500 from your LINE Pay balance will be used.
Note: You cannot specify how much of your LINE Pay Bonus to use.

If you use LINE Points together with your LINE Pay Bonus, your Points will be used first.

Sending your LINE Pay Bonus to a friend
To send your LINE Pay Bonus to a friend, go to the LINE Pay main menu and tap Send Money. What you can send will depend on your LINE Pay account type.

Line Cash account users:
You can send your LINE Pay Bonus to a friend, but not money from your LINE Pay balance.

Line Money account users:
If you have a regular LINE Pay balance and a LINE Pay Bonus, money from your LINE Pay balance will be sent first.
Note: You cannot specify how much money from your LINE Pay balance or LINE Pay Bonus to send.

My Level is an incentive program that gives you rewards for actively using LINE Pay. These rewards are issued based on your monthly use of the service.



You can increase your level and get LINE Points for:
• In-store QR/Barcode ("My Code") payments
• LINE Pay card payments
• Payments through Google Pay with your registered LINE Pay card
• Online payments through LINE Pay
• Payments with a credit card registered on LINE Pay
• "Scan Bill" payments (some exclusions apply)
• Using LINE Pay's "Exchange Money" feature
• Paying at vending machines

Note:
- You can only receive Points for purchases totaling up to JPY 1,000,000 per month.
- If you make purchases with your LINE Pay card, the amounts will be totaled when the sales are verified, so it may take anywhere from a few days to two months before they appear.
- For payments made between 12 am and 9:59 am on the first day of every month, the basic My Level award rate from the previous month will be applied.

Example 4: After making payments of JPY 300,000 and JPY 500,000, you made a payment for JPY 700,000, putting you over the monthly JPY 1,000,000 limit.

• Sending money to LINE friends
• Spending over JPY 1,000,000 for a single payment or multiple payments in a single month

Para evitar el uso ilícito por parte de terceros, en caso de perdida o robo de un dispositivo, es posible configurar una contraseña distinta de la de tu LINE. De esta manera puedes usar el servicio disfrutando de un alto nivel de seguridad. 

Para configurar la contraseña, sigue estos pasos:

1. Ve al menú principal de LINE Pay, y pulsa Configuración > Contraseña.
2. Activa Bloqueo con código.

Gracias a una encriptación de alto nivel, protegemos los datos personales y la información de pago al momento de la compra, contra fraudes electrónicos como suplantación de identidad, y hacemos doble verificación de la información registrada en LINE Pay y la del usuario.

Asimismo, al momento del pago, LINE Pay se abrirá en tu teléfono inteligente para que puedas realizar las operaciones necesarias. En la parte superior de la pantalla, se mostrarán los datos de tu perfil de LINE y podrás comprobar que el pago se está realizando con LINE Pay. (Estos datos de perfil no aparecerán si estás en un sitio fraudulento.)

Ahora, en caso de que pierdas tu teléfono, por favor, ponte en contacto con nosotros para que podamos suspender tu cuenta de LINE Pay. Si deseas suspender tu cuenta de LINE Pay, por favor consulta esta sección de Ayuda, y ponte en contacto con nosotros.

¿Qué es LINE Cash y LINE Money? toggle

There are two types of LINE Pay accounts: LINE Cash and LINE Money. The features available depend on which account type you have.
Note: You can also make payments using LINE Pay without signing up for an account. For details, see this Help article.

LINE Cash account
When you sign up for LINE Pay, you get a LINE Cash account. With this account type, you can make purchases using your LINE Pay balance (once you've added money to it) or a registered credit card. You can also have a LINE Pay card issued, which can be used for making payments at JCB merchants.

A LINE Cash account also lets you:
• Request money from friends on LINE
• Request to split bills with friends on LINE
Note: You can only send requests with a LINE Cash account, and you cannot send money or pay split bills yourself.

LINE Money account
When you verify your identity with LINE Pay, your LINE Cash account becomes a LINE Money account.

In addition to the features of a LINE Cash account, a LINE Money account lets you:
• Send money to friends on LINE
• Make withdrawals from your LINE Pay balance
• Make wire transfers

To use LINE Money, you need to first verify your identity.

From the LINE Pay main menu, tap Settings > Identity Verification and choose one of the three verification methods listed below.
Note: 
- If you haven't set a passcode, you'll need to set one after agreeing to the Terms of Use.
- Your request to verify your identity will be canceled if you unsuccessfully try to transfer your LINE account (e.g. after changing devices).

• Bank account verification
Verify your identity by linking your bank account to LINE Pay. See this Help article for details.

• Verify your identity online
Use any of the acceptable forms of ID mentioned below and follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.
Note:
- This option may not be available on some devices.
- You will need to take a photo of the side of your ID (laid flat). Refer to the video below for instructions on how to do so.


• Postal verification
Follow the on-screen instructions and take a photo of one of the acceptable forms of ID mentioned below. A postcard will then be sent by surface mail to your registered address, which you can use for verification.
Note:
- It may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for the postcard to arrive.
- Follow the instructions on the postcard to complete the registration process.

Use any of the following photo IDs when verifying your identity online or with a postcard:
- Driver's license
- 運転経歴証明書 (driving history certificate)
- Japanese passport
- Individual Number (My Number) Card
Note: The notification card for your Individual Number is not accepted.
- Residence card
- Special permanent resident certificate

Once you've completed verifying your identity with either the "Verify Your Identity Online" or "Postal Verification" method, you'll receive a notification from the LINE Pay identity verification account and you'll be able to send money and use other LINE Money services.
Note: You need to use LINE version 9.7 or later (Android) to verify your identity with these two options.

There are no service charges for making payments with LINE Pay, adding money to your LINE Pay balance, or sending money to friends on LINE.

However, there are service charges for the following features:

• Scan Bill payments

To Link your bank account:
1. From the LINE Pay menu, tap Add Money > Bank Account.
2. Select your bank from the list.
Note: Japan Post Bank account users need to verify their identities from September 27, 2017. If you linked a Japan Post Bank account before 6 pm on September 27, 2017, you don't need to verify your identity.
3. Enter the required information.
Note:
- Make sure to enter the bank account holder's name.
- If a middle name appears in the bank account holder's name, please enter it in either the first or last name field.

After selecting your bank, please complete its registration process. If you have any questions about the steps on the bank website, we ask that you contact the bank directly for assistance.

Once your bank account is linked to your LINE Pay account, your identity will be verified and you can start using LINE Money.

To delete your LINE Pay account: 
1. Go to LINE Pay Settings > Delete Account > Delete Account.
2. Tap OK on the confirmation screen.

Important: Deleting your LINE Pay account will erase your account activity details, LINE Pay balance, and all of your other account information.

You will not be able to delete your account right away if:
• You've signed up for LINE Insurance.
Delete your LINE Pay account after canceling your LINE Insurance. For the steps to do so, see this Help article (only available in Japanese).

• You've signed up for LINE Smart Invest.
Delete your LINE Pay account after unlinking the LINE Smart Invest app. For the steps to do so, see this Help article (only available in Japanese).

 • You still have incomplete transactions (for sending money or wire transfers).
If you've sent money to LINE friends or made wire transfers, you cannot delete your LINE Pay account until all your transactions are complete. From the stand-alone LINE Pay app, tap Send Money > Transfer history and make sure there are no pending transactions, then delete your LINE Pay account.

• Your LINE Pay account has been suspended.
Reactivate your LINE Pay account by following the steps in this Help article, and then delete it.

• You have a LINE Pay balance of more than JPY 220.
Forfeit or withdraw your balance to a bank account, then delete your LINE Pay account.
Note:
- If you have a LINE Cash account, you can withdraw your balance after changing to a LINE Money account.
- Please understand that if you forfeit your balance, you will not be able to withdraw it after deleting your account.

• Your payment transactions have not been finalized.
You cannot delete your LINE Pay account until all of your LINE Pay transactions (e.g. payments made with My Code or your LINE Pay card) are finalized.
Note: LINE Pay card transactions can take up to two months to be finalized from the time money is subtracted or refunded.

From the LINE Pay main menu, choose History and make sure that "Transaction Complete"" appears for every transaction, then delete your LINE Pay account.
Note: By tapping a transaction you can check when it was made and completed, along with other details.

You cannot delete your LINE Pay account yourself if:
• You transferred your LINE account to an OS not supported by LINE Pay.
LINE Pay is not supported on OSes other than iOS and Android (e.g. Windows Phone).

• You transferred your LINE account using a phone number from a different country.

In these cases, please contact LINE Pay Customer Care and we will delete your LINE Pay account for you. We will transfer your remaining balance to your registered bank account if you have more than JPY 220 left in your LINE Pay balance.

If you've forgotten your passcode, you can reset it by following the steps below.

1. Tap Forgot your passcode? under the passcode input box.
2. Select one of the following methods for verifying your identity.

• Registered credit card
Note: You need to wait 24 hours after registering a credit card as your payment method.
• Registered LINE Pay card
• Registered bank account
Note: Your account will be restricted if you enter the wrong information five times. If this happens, you will not be able to reactivate your account yourself, so please contact us here.

3. Enter the required information for the verification method you chose and tap OK.
4. Tap OK on the pop-up notification about receiving the verification code phone call.
Note: You'll receive a phone call from 0120-926-348 to the phone number you registered with LINE and hear voice guidance.
5. Enter the verification code you received over the phone and tap OK.
6. If you have an email address registered to LINE, a temporary passcode will be sent to that email address. Enter the temporary passcode into the passcode screen.
7. Tap OK on the pop-up saying "Set a new passcode?" and reset your passcode.

Note:
- If you have a LINE Money account and use Japan Post Bank, you'll be asked for additional identity verification information for resetting your passcode. Be sure to enter your converted branch code and account number.

If the steps to reset your passcode do not appear, but the screen to delete your account does:
For security reasons, you will not be able to reset your passcode if you don't have a credit card, LINE Pay card, bank account to add money to LINE Pay, or an email address registered to LINE Pay.

In this case, please delete your LINE Pay account from the "Delete LINE Pay Account" screen, then register for LINE Pay again.
Note: Upon re-registering, your previous purchase history will be deleted.

The account was deactivated upon your request
You can reactivate it on your smartphone. To reactivate your account, start LINE Pay and enter your LINE Pay passcode on the passcode input screen. 

If you have forgotten your LINE Pay account passcode, the steps to set a new one differ depending on your registered country (the country code of the phone number you registered to your LINE account). After confirming your country code, please refer to the following:

You transferred your LINE account using a phone number from a different country
When you transfer your LINE account (using your registered email address or linked Facebook account), use of your LINE Pay account will be restricted if you verify your LINE account with a phone number from a country different from the one it was previously verified with. This is in order to protect your account's payment information. If your LINE Pay account is restricted, you can delete it yourself, or use your existing LINE Pay account again.

• Deleting your LINE Pay account
When you tap Reset Account from the lockout screen, all of the information from the LINE Pay account you had been using until now will be deleted, and you can register again.

• Using the LINE Pay account you had been using again
Reinstall the LINE app, then use the phone number you had been using for verification again when you log in. After verifying your account, you can use the LINE Pay account you had been using again by going to Wallet > LINE Pay from the LINE app.

• If you cannot reset your account and are having issues using it

You cannot access your account because you changed devices
If you accidentally deleted your account or created a new one when transferring your LINE account to a new device, you will not be able to access your LINE Pay account. You will also be unable to use your LINE Pay account if you cancel your registered email address from your LINE account.

In order to add money to your LINE Pay account, you need to apply and register each bank account for the linked bank account service.

To add money from a bank account, please refer to the steps below.

1. From the LINE Pay menu, tap Add Money Bank Account.
2. Select the bank account you want to use.
3. Enter an amount and tap Add Money.
4. Enter your LINE Pay passcode.

If you do not have sufficient funds in your bank account, the money will fail to be added and a message will appear under Notifications (the bell icon at the top left of the LINE Pay main menu).

Due to enhanced security, you may be asked to upload documents for identity verification when linking a bank. In this case, a screen will appear for you to upload a photo of one of the following forms of ID:

- Driver's license
- Health insurance card
- Basic resident registration card (with a photo)
- Residence card
- Special permanent resident certificate

It may take up to a week for the verification of your identity to be approved. Please understand that you will not be able to add money from that bank until you are approved.

2. Select FamiPort, enter your name and the amount you want to add, then tap Add Money.
3. Once a Registration No. and Reservation No. are generated, tap OK.
Note:
- You must add the money within 30 minutes.
- If you have not configured a LINE Pay passcode, you must do so after entering your name and the amount.
4. After submitting a request to add money, you'll receive a notification on LINE from the LINE ウォレット (LINE Wallet) official account with your reservation and registration numbers.
5. Print out a payment slip from a FamiPort terminal at a FamilyMart.

6. Show the payment slip at the register and pay.

Please note that you cannot use a LINE prepaid card to add money to your LINE Pay account.

JPY 1 will be covered by LINE Pay if you add one of the amounts below, so the amount you pay will be JPY 1 less than the amount you choose to add.(For example, if you add JPY 2,000, you'll be asked to pay JPY 1,999.)

You can add money to your LINE Pay balance by scanning a QR Code/Barcode at AINZ & TULPE, LIPS and HIPS, or other AINZ stores.
Note: You can add a minimum of JPY 1 and a maximum of JPY 49,000 in cash only.

To add money:
1. From the LINE Pay menu, tap the + icon > QR Code/Barcode.
Note: You may have to enter your passcode to proceed.
2. Show the generated code to the store clerk.
3. Pay the amount you want to add in cash.
4. Collect your receipt.

Once you've finished adding money, the amount will show up in your LINE Pay balance in real time.
Important: Once this transaction has been completed, it cannot be canceled.

¿Cómo registro o elimino una tarjeta? toggle
Puedes registrar y eliminar una tarjeta de crédito o de débito, desde la sección de Configuración o pulsando Tarjeta de crédito en el menú principal de LINE Pay.

Registrar una tarjeta de crédito o de débito
Para registrar una tarjeta solo necesitas introducir el número de la tarjeta, la fecha de expiración y el código de seguridad. (CVC o CVV) respectivo.

En caso de que no hayas configurado una contraseña para tu LINE Pay, se te solicitará registrar una.

Acepta los términos y condiciones de uso, introduce los datos necesarios, establece una contraseña y listo.

Se pueden registrar varias tarjetas de crédito de diferentes compañias y configurar la que más uses como tarjeta principal, para tu comodidad. Para más información sobre las tarjetas compatbiles, pulsa aquí.

Eliminar una tarjeta de crédito o de débito
Para eliminar una tarjeta, solo necesitas seleccionar el botón con forma de X en la parte superior de dicha tarjeta desde la sección de Configuración > Tarjeta de crédito.

Ahora, ten en cuenta que aunque elimines la tarjeta desde la sección de Configuración, esto no afectará tu historial de pagos.

¿Se puede revisar el desglose de los pagos con la tarjeta registrada? toggle
La descripción del pago con LINE Pay se te enviará a través de un mensaje desde la cuenta oficial de LINE Pay. Asimismo, es posible confirmar el historial siguiendo estos pasos:

1. Ve al menú principal de LINE Pay y selecciona Historial.
2. Pulsa la casilla Todo en la parte superior de la pantalla y selecciona la tarjeta de crédito en cuestión.

Por otro lado, debes tener en cuenta que si realizaste un pago sin haberte registrado en LINE Pay, solo será posible comprobar el desglose a través del mensaje que se recibe al finalizar una operación.

Ahora, recuerda que desde Configuración, también tienes acceso a una gran variedad de funciones como Administrar tarjetas de crédito.

¿Qué tarjetas se aceptan? toggle
En LINE Pay, aceptamos tarjetas de crédito o débito tales como VISA y Master. Sin embargo, en ciertos casos, según el país o el negocio afiliado, es posible que no se pueda realizar pagos.

Por favor comprueba la opción que se adecúe al país en el cual se expidió tu de número de teléfono. 

Número de teléfono expedido en Japón
En ese caso, ten en cuenta lo siguiente:

- No es posible registrar un tarjeta LINE Pay.
- Si tenías una tarjeta American Express o Diners puedes seguir utilizándola. Sin embargo, el registro de una las tarjetas mencionadas ya no está disponible.

Número de teléfono expedido fuera de Japón, Tailandia, Taiwán o Indonesia
En ese caso, ten en cuenta lo siguiente:

- Si tenías una tarjeta JCB puedes seguir utilizándola. Sin embargo, el registro de una las tarjetas mencionadas ya no está disponible.
- El uso y registro de tarjetas JCB para LINE@ y LINE STORE no está disponible aunque hayas hecho el registro previamente.

¿Qué tarjetas de crédito son válidas? toggle
En LINE Pay, se pueden usar las siguientes tarjetas de crédito y de débito: VISA, Master Card y JCB*.
(Según el país de expedición de la tarjeta o el negocio afiliado, es posible que no puedas realizar pagos.)

- VISA y Master Card: Válidas en sitios web relacionados con LINE (ej. LINE STORE).
- JCB: Válidas solo en ciertos sitios web relacionados con LINE.

* Si la tarjeta JCB se emitió en Corea, es posible que no pueda ser utilizada en ciertos negocios afiliados.

Estamos planeando mejorar las funciones del servicio para mostrar únicamente las tarjetas válidas en cada negocio.

Expiró la tarjeta que había registrado toggle
Si al realizar un pago la tarjeta de crédito o de débito registrada en LINE Pay ha expirado, aparecerá un aviso de que no puedes usar dicha tarjeta. En este caso, por favor ponte en contacto con la compañía que emittió tu tarjeta y solicita la emisión de una nueva.

Una vez que recibas la tarjeta expedida, elimina el registro de la tarjeta expirada y registra la nueva tarjeta desde la sección de Configuración de LINE Pay.

Si deseas información sobre como eliminar el registro de una tarjeta, consulta la opción que se adecúe a tu caso:

No puedo registrar mi tarjeta de crédito toggle
Si a pesar de haber introducido correctamente los datos de tu tarjeta no puedes registrarla, por favor comprueba lo siguiente:

- La tarjeta está habilitada para realizar pagos online.
- La tarjeta está habilitada para ser utilizada fuera de su país de expedición.
- Estás utilizando una tarjeta corporativa.

Se pueden usar tarjetas corporativas, aunque es posible que existan restricciones según el tipo de negocio y pagos online. Para más información, consulta con la compañía que expidió tu tarjeta de crédito.

Por otro lado, si te apareció un mensaje indicando que superaste el número de intentos de registro permitidos, pulsa aquí.

Perdí la tarjeta que había registrado toggle
Si perdiste tu tarjeta, ponte en contacto con tu compañía de tarjeta lo más antes posible.

En cuanto se haya tramitado la pérdida, se restringirá el pago de LINE Pay con dicha tarjeta de crédito. (Si tienes más tarjetas registradas en LINE Pay, mantendrán su funcionamiento normal.)

En caso de encontrar la tarjeta perdida, ponte en contacto con tu compañía de tarjetas y consulta si puedes volver a utilizarla para realizar pagos. En ese caso, en cuanto vuelvas a registrar la tarjeta en LINE Pay, podrás volver a utilizarla.

Por otro lado, si solicitaste una tarjeta nueva, regístrala en LINE Pay una vez que la hayas recibido.

After choosing the product you want to buy on a LINE service merchant site such as LINE STORE, select LINE Pay as your payment method during checking out. Then select the card you want to use on the LINE Pay payment screen on your device.
Note:
- You need to use your smartphone to complete the payment process.
- If you have not set a LINE Pay passcode, you must set one after selecting your payment method.

It should be noted that you cannot make credit card purchases with LINE Pay at non-LINE service merchants. In this case, please use your LINE Pay balance.

- Si tu tarjeta está habilitada para realizar pagos en el extranjero.
- Si la cuenta bancaria vinculada a tu tarjeta tiene saldo disponible. (Realiza un depósito si es necesario.)

You need a LINE Money account to send money to friends using your LINE Pay balance.
Note:
- You can convert to a LINE Money account by verifying your identity.
- LINE Cash account users can send their LINE Pay Bonus.

Additionally, you cannot send more than the daily limit (JPY 100,000). This limit includes any money you receive from requesting money or splitting bills.

Request money on LINE Pay is a feature which allows you to ask your LINE friends to send money to your LINE Pay account.

The steps to request money are as follows.

1. Tap Request Money.
2. Tap the friend you wish to request money from then tap Select.
3. Enter the desired amount in Requested Amount then tap Next.
4. Enter an optional message, sticker or image and tap Request Money.

The message will be sent to your friend and when your friend sends the money you requested, the amount will be reflected in both of your balances.

The daily transfer limit is JPY 100,000. This limit includes amounts where you request money or split bills to receive money from others. You can still request money or split bills once you have reached this limit, but you will not be able to receive the money.

Example:
On April 1, person A sends person B JPY 100,000 > on the same day person A requests JPY 10,000 from person C > if person C tries to send the money to person A, as person A has reached their limit for the day, person C will not be able to send the money.

The "Split bill" feature lets you split bills with other LINE users and helps you keep track of how much everyone owes. You can use it to send money to the person who paid, or request that others pay you with cash or their LINE Pay balance.
Note: The daily transfer limit is JPY 100,000.

You can choose to pay a split bill with:
• Money from your LINE Pay balance
Note: To use your LINE Pay balance, you must have a LINE Money account. If you have a LINE Cash account, you can send money from your LINE Pay balance after verifying your identity and changing to a LINE Money account.

To split a bill with friends, follow the steps below.

If you're creating the split bill (split bill creator):
1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap Split bill.
2. Tap Split a Bill and enter a group name.
3. Show the QR code that appears to the people you're splitting the bill with.

If you're joining the split bill (group members):
4. Open the code reader and scan the QR code on the split bill creator's phone (created in step 3 above).
5. Choose a payment method and tap Join Split Bill.

Split bill creator:
6. Make sure that everyone has joined the group, then tap Pay.
7. Choose either My CodeLINE Pay card, or QUICPay+ as your payment method to the merchant.
Note: QUICPay+ is only available on Android devices.
8. Complete your payment to the merchant.
9. Tap View Details in the payment completion chat message you receive from the official "LINE Wallet" account.
10. Determine the amount due from each member splitting the bill.

Group members:
11. Pay your share of the bill.

Split bill creator:
12. Tap Mark as Paid for the payments you receive in cash.
Note: When someone sends the money they owe using LINE Pay, the transaction will be reflected in both their and the split bill creator's balance.

If the total bill amount can't be split evenly among the members, the amount due for each person will automatically be rounded up, and the split bill creator will receive the difference. For example, if a JPY 1,000 bill is split among three people, the amount due will automatically be adjusted so that each member pays JPY 334 (for a total of JPY 1,002).

Both LINE Cash and LINE Money account holders can request money from LINE friends.

With a LINE Money account, you can send money from your LINE Pay balance to your friends on LINE, even if they haven't signed up for a LINE Pay account.
Note: You cannot send money if you just have a LINE Cash account.

• Creating/paying split bills
Both LINE Cash and LINE Money account holders can create split bill groups and invite members. Any LINE user can join a split bill group, but you can only pay your share of the bill using your LINE Pay balance if you have a LINE Money account.
Note: You cannot pay split bills without a LINE Money account.

When you send/request money or use the split bill feature, always remember to make sure that the recipient is correct.

To send money from your LINE Pay balance to friends on LINE, follow the steps below.
Note: If you haven't set a LINE Pay passcode, make sure to set one first by going to Settings > Passcode.

1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap Send Money > Send money or Bonus under "Send money and Bonus to your friends."
2. Choose a friend to send money to.
3. Enter the amount you want to transfer, then tap Next.
Note: There are no fees for sending money.
4. Enter an optional message, select the sticker or image, then tap Send money or Bonus.
5. Enter your LINE Pay passcode.

After completing the steps above, the sent amount will be deposited in your friend’s LINE Pay balance.
Note: A notification message will be sent in the chat room between you and your friend.

If the person you sent money to doesn’t have a LINE Pay account, the transfer will be completed once they create one.
Note: If your friend doesn't create an account within seven days of the money being sent, the transfer will be canceled and the amount will be returned to your LINE Pay balance.

To make a wire transfer, follow the steps below for your situation.

If you're designating a bank:
1. From the main menu of the stand-alone LINE Pay app, tap Send Money.
2. Under "Transfer to bank account," tap Send money.
3. At the top of the screen, tap the Account number tab.
4. Enter the name registered to the recipient’s account (in full-width katakana characters), bank name, account type, account number, and your name, then tap Next.
5. Enter the amount you want to transfer, then tap Send money.
6. Tap OK.
7. Enter your passcode.
8. Tap Close.

If the recipient is designating a bank:
1. From the main menu of the stand-alone LINE Pay app, tap Send Money.
2. Under "Transfer to bank account," tap Send money.
3. At the top of the screen, tap the Text message/Email tab.
4. Enter the recipient's account name (in full-width katakana characters), phone number or email address, and your name, then tap Next.
5. Enter the amount you want to transfer, then tap Send money.
6. Tap OK
7. Enter your passcode.
8. Tap Close.

The recipient will receive a text message or email from the phone number/email address below.

Para realizar una compra con LINE Pay, sigue el procedimiento que se adecúe a tu caso:

Si estás registrado en LINE Pay
1. Selecciona LINE Pay como forma de pago al realizar la compra.
2. Abre LINE Pay en tu teléfono inteligente.
3. Desde la pantalla de pago, selecciona un método de pago, y pulsa Pagar.
4. Introduce tu contraseña de LINE Pay, y pulsa Aceptar.
En algunos de los negocios afiliados, se abrirá la página de pago correspondiente para completar la compra.

Algunos de estos negocios aceptan los pagos offline.

Si no estás registrado en LINE Pay

Cuando se haya completado el pago recibirás un mensaje con los detalles al correo electrónico que hayas registrado en LINE Pay.

¿Por qué el estado de transacción sale "En espera" en la notificación de pago? toggle
Al realizar un pago, recibirás una notificación por parte de LINE Pay, pero esto no significa que la transacción haya finalizado.

Una vez que realices el procedimiento de pago en LINE Pay, tu pedido será enviado al negocio afiliado, en donde será procesado. Sin embargo, puede requerir algo de tiempo hasta que el negocio afiliado confirme y procese el pago, por lo que el estado de la transacción aparecerá En espera

Si la transacción fue realizada con éxito, la fecha de pago aparecerá junto a transacción completada.

En caso de que la transacción no haya sido procesada por el negocio afiliado, recibirás una notificación indicando la cancelación del pago y aparecerá en tu historial de compras.

- Cómo comprobar el historial de compras:

¿Puedo pagar con LINE Pay sin tener que registrarme? toggle
Si eres usuario de LINE, podrás realizar pagos online con LINE Pay sin necesidad de registros adicionales.

Cuando se haya completado el pago recibirás un mensaje en tu LINE de la cuenta oficial de LINE Pay con los detalles del pago realizado. 

Para cualquier consulta sobre el estado de tu pedido o para cancelaciones, será necesario que te pongas en contacto directamente con el negocio afiliado correspondiente.

Por otra parte, si realizas compras sin estar registrado en LINE Pay, tendrás que aceptar todos los términos y condiciones de uso.

¿Por qué no puedo hacer pagos con mi tarjeta de crédito registrada en LINE Pay? toggle
Es posible que no se pueda realizar un pago en los siguientes casos:

- Los datos de la tarjeta no son correctos.
- Ha ocurrido una falla temporal en el sistema.
- El sistema de seguridad del servicio ha sido activado.

Por favor, comprueba si tu tarjeta está habilitada para hacer compras en línea y si los datos introducidos son correctos.

Yes, you can make payments at LINE Pay affiliated stores.

When you purchase an item, use your smartphone to scan the QR or bar code posted at the store to bring up the payment confirmation screen. Afterwards, enter your passcode to complete the transaction.

To make payments: 
1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap Scan.
2. Line up the QR code inside the frame.
Note: If you can't scan the code, tap Enter Code Number at the bottom of the screen and manually enter the code number that appears with the QR code.

¿Para qué sirve Esc.? toggle
Esta función te permite escanear códigos QR y de barras al realizar compras en negocios online afiliados y ciertos establecimientos. Para utilizarla, sigue estos pasos:

1. Ve a la página principal de LINE Pay, y pulsa Esc.

2. Escanea el código correspondiente.
Si no puedes escanear el código, pulsa el botón que dice Escribe tu PIN (Introduce el código) e introduce los dígitos que aparecen junto al código QR del establecimiento.

3. Te aparecerá la pantalla para realizar pagos.
En caso de que no hayas configurado una contraseña para tu LINE Pay, se te solicitará registrar una.

4. Introduce tu contraseña de LINE Pay.
