If your phone number appears as unknown when making calls, it may be that:
• There are restrictions on the recipient’s device or carrier
The appearance of caller ID will vary depending on the recipient’s device.
For some device models, the name that was registered to the contacts list will appear. However, on other devices, your phone number may appear in an international format or as an unknown number.
Additionally, if the mobile service carrier of the person you are calling is implementing caller ID spoofing counter measures, your phone number will appear as unknown or private; regardless of having verified your phone number.
Note: In regards to whether a carrier is implementing caller ID spoofing counter measures, we ask that you contact them directly.
• You didn't verify your phone number
If you don’t see a phone number at the top of the screen after going to the main menu and tapping the Calls tab > the keypad icon > settings icon, it means that you didn't verify your phone number and you'll appear as unknown.
