LINE Coins are used to purchase stickers and other items in the LINE app, and LINE Points are earned by using various LINE services. They differ in several aspects, including how they are obtained, where they can be used, and when they expire.
About LINE Coins
LINE Coins is a virtual currency for purchasing stickers and other items in the LINE app. They can only be purchased and used in the LINE app.

- LINE Coins cannot be used on LINE STORE.
- Refer to Available payment methods for the options available to you on LINE STORE.
The amount of LINE Coins displayed in your balance
The amount of LINE Coins displayed in your balance is the sum of the following.
- Purchased Coins
- Bonus Coins issued when you purchased Coins
- Coins automatically converted from your LINE Points
Coins are spent in the following order: Bonus Coins > purchased Coins > Coins automatically converted from your LINE Points.
Note: Bonus Coins expire 180 days after they are issued.
About Points
The LINE Points program lets you earn Points for using various LINE services and joining promotions. LINE Points can be used when purchasing stickers and other items in the LINE app or on LINE STORE.
If you don't have enough LINE Coins to purchase items in the LINE app, your LINE Points
will automatically be exchanged for Coins at a rate of 1 Coin for every 2 Points.
Note: The exchange rate may differ
depending on the country or region you're using LINE in.
Be advised
- You cannot exchange your LINE Points into LINE Coins manually.
- Points are valid for 180 days from the last day you received Points.
