Posts from users you follow will appear on LINE VOOM.
To hide a specific user's posts:
1. Tap the options icon at the top right of a post by the user.
2. Tap Unfollow XXXX > Unfollow, or Hide all updates from XXXX > Hide > OK.
All of the user's old posts will be hidden from LINE VOOM and their new posts will no longer appear.
Note:
- Users are not notified when you hide their posts.
- To hide a specific post, tap the options icon at the top right of the post > Hide this post > OK.
If you want to start seeing new posts from a user again after hiding them, use one of the methods below.
If you hid the user by selecting Unfollow XXXX:
1. Tap Voom > Manage LINE VOOM updates.
2. Tap Following > Discover friends.
3. Tap Follow to the right of the user.
If you hid the user by selecting Hide all posts from XXXX:

3. Enable the option next to the user.
Your LINE VOOM posts are only visible to your followers.
Note: If you set the privacy settings of a post to Public, people other than your followers will also be able to see it.
If you want to share a post with only certain followers, see this Help article.
If a friend's LINE VOOM posts no longer appear, it may be because:
• You aren't following them.
• You added them to Accounts hidden on LINE VOOM.
• You added them to Accounts blocked on LINE VOOM.
• They added you to Accounts blocked on LINE VOOM.
If you hid or blocked someone on LINE VOOM, you can view their LINE VOOM posts again by unhiding or unblocking them.
Note: When you unblock someone, they will also be able to view your LINE VOOM posts.
Posts that you set to share only with yourself or certain users will also appear on your profile, but only on your device.
When you make a post on LINE VOOM to be shared with a custom list of users, it will not appear to any users who are not on the list.
Note: The content of posts set to Only me will not appear to anyone but yourself.
If a user who is not included in a custom list visits your profile, they will only see posts that you've made Public.
To hide a suggested account/post on LINE VOOM:
1. Tap the menu icon at the top right of the Suggested for you list or on a suggested post.
2. Tap Hide account suggestions or Not interested.
3. Tap Hide.
Note:
- If you want to cancel hiding the Suggested for you list, tap Undo.
- Account suggestions will be hidden for 48 hours.
For information on hiding posts by an account that you're currently following, see this Help article.
Before you can add a friend from LINE to a custom list, they need to be in your Following or Followers list on LINE VOOM.
To add a LINE friend who isn't in your Following or Followers list on LINE VOOM to a custom list:
1. Follow your friend using one of the methods below.
• From your friend list or a chat:
Tap the profile icon of the friend you want to follow > LINE VOOM posts at the bottom of the screen > Follow at the top of the screen.
• From LINE VOOM:
Tap Voom > Manage LINE VOOM updates > Follows > Discover friends > Follow to the right of the friend you want to follow.
2. Refer to the steps in this Help article and add your friend to a custom list.
Note: You can't follow a friend if they've turned off Allow follows on LINE VOOM. For information about the LINE VOOM follow settings, see this Help article.
With LINE VOOM (formerly Timeline), you select the people you want to follow from your LINE friend list. (You are asked to do this initially from the From friends to followers pop-up.) After you select who to follow, your LINE VOOM Following list and LINE friend list are managed separately.
The posts that you see on LINE VOOM are from the people you're following on LINE VOOM, not the users in your LINE friend list. In the same way, your posts will be visible to people who have followed you (your Followers).
After you initially set up your Following list, a list called "LINE friends" is created automatically under Privacy settings > Custom lists, but this list is managed separately from your actual LINE friend list. See this Help article for details.
For more information about how to configure LINE VOOM privacy settings and their specifications, see this Help article.
With LINE Timeline (the service we offered before LINE VOOM), there was a Friends privacy setting that let you share posts to only your friends on LINE. However, this privacy setting can no longer be used after you select the friends you want to follow on LINE VOOM from the From friends to followers pop-up that initially appears.
Instead, you can share posts to just your friends on LINE by using the LINE friends custom list that is automatically created after you initially set up your Following list.
To share posts to your friends on LINE:
1. Tap the Voom tab > "+" at the bottom right of the screen > Write.
2. Tap Public, the custom list name, or Only me at the top of the post editing screen.
Note: The privacy setting you choose will remain the next time you make a post.
3. Select Custom lists > LINE friends.
4. Tap "X" at the top of the screen.
Keep in mind that the LINE friends custom list will not automatically update after it has been created. If you don't want to share a post with everyone in the LINE friends custom list, you can delete users from it by tapping "-" > Remove.
If you have a new LINE friend you want to share your posts with, follow them and add them directly to the LINE friends custom list. See this Help article for details.
Important: If you block a friend on LINE after initially choosing who to follow, the LINE friends custom list will not automatically update. To prevent your posts from being seen by user you blocked on LINE, you will need to also block them on LINE VOOM.
To edit a custom list:
1. Tap Public, the custom list name, or Only me at the top of the post editing screen.
Note: The privacy setting you choose will remain the next time you make a post.
2. Tap ">" to the right of Custom lists > ">" to the right of the list you want to edit.
• To remove someone from the list, tap "-" to the left of the person you want to remove > Delete.
• To add someone to the list, tap + Add user > the people you want to add from the Following/Followers tabs > Next.
3. Tap Save.
Important:
- The Friends privacy setting from Timeline (now LINE VOOM) is no longer available. Instead, you can now make posts to just your friends on LINE by using the LINE friends custom list. See this Help article for details.
- People that you blocked on LINE VOOM will still be able to see posts that you have set to Public if they access LINE VOOM for web browsers without logging in to LINE, or if they use LINE VOOM with a different LINE account from the one you blocked.
