Notification issues

Canceling your device's battery settings if you have notification issues toggle
If you're having issues with notifications, you may be able to resolve them by canceling your device's battery settings. To do so, follow the steps below.
Note: These steps and labels may differ depending on your Android OS version and device.

To turn OFF your battery saver schedule:
1. Go to your device's Settings, then search for and tap Battery saver.
2. Tap Set a schedule.
3. Select No schedule.

To remove background restrictions:
1. Go to your device's Settings, then search for and tap LINE.
2. Tap Background restriction.
3. Tap Remove.

To turn OFF battery optimization:
1. Go to your device's Settings, then search for and tap Battery optimization.
2. At the top of the screen, tap Not optimized, then select All.
3. Tap LINE > Don't optimize.

I got a notification but didn't receive any messages toggle
After you get a notification, it may take some time before you receive the actual message.

If you're still having trouble, try the following troubleshooting tips.

• Go back to the list of chats and then reopen the chat room you're having issues with.
• Restart your device.
• Update the LINE app to the latest version here.
• Check or disable any web limiting or filtering services you may have in place.
Note: Consult your mobile service provider for more information about web limiting and filtering services.

Issues with the appearance of the "N" mark and notification badges toggle
Depending on the strength of your network or Wi-Fi connection, badge icons may be delayed or not appear at all.

The badge or "N" icon will usually stay displayed until you start the app or check any new information that's been added.

If badge icons are not showing up properly, try the following troubleshooting tips.

• Delete any unnecessary apps and data on your device.
• Restart your device.
• Update the LINE app to the latest version here.
