To share a YouTube video in a voice or video call, see the steps below for each method.
Note:
- Not available in 1-on-1 chats.
- You can watch YouTube videos in LINE on Android from LINE version 13.6.0. If you're using an Android device and it shows an error, update the LINE app.
Searching YouTube and sharing a video
1. Tap Share screen at the bottom right of the screen > YouTube.
2. Enter text in the search field and tap Search or the magnifying glass.
3. Tap the video you want to share.
4. Tap Start.
To stop sharing a YouTube video, tap "X" at the top right of the screen > Stop sharing.
Note: You cannot use the screen sharing feature if someone else is already sharing their screen or a video.
Copying and sharing a YouTube URL
Note: This feature is only available on Android devices, as well as iOS devices running versions of iOS earlier than 16.0 or LINE version 12.10.0 and earlier.
1. Exit the voice/video call screen and copy the YouTube video or playlist URL you want to share.
2. Go back to the voice/video call screen.
3. Tap the video that appears at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap Start.

To share your screen in a voice or video call, your device must meet the following requirements.
Note: Not available in 1-on-1 voice calls.
• iOS: iOS 12 or later
• Android: Not available on some devices
To share your screen, see the steps below for your device.
iOS
To share your screen:
1. Tap Share screen at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap Your screen.
3. Tap Start Broadcast.
4. Go to the screen you want to share.
To stop sharing your screen, tap the red status bar at the top of the screen > Stop, or go back to the LINE app and tap End screen sharing > Stop Broadcast.
Note: You cannot use the screen sharing feature if someone else is already sharing their screen or a video.
Android
Sharing your screen
1. Tap Share screen at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap Your screen.
3. Tap Start now.
If you're asked to allow permission for the LINE app, try following the steps below.
Note: These steps and labels may differ depending on your Android OS version and device.
1. Go to your device's Settings > Apps.
2. Tap LINE in your list of apps.
3. Tap Battery > Optimize/No restrictions.
Sharing websites
1. Exit the group video call screen and copy the URL you want to share.
2. Go back to the group video call screen.
3. Tap the website that appears at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap Start now.
You can write on the screen you're sharing by tapping the pencil icon at the bottom right of the screen. You can also drag the pencil icon or stop button to move their location.
To stop sharing your screen, tap the stop button at the bottom right. Returning to the video call screen will automatically end the screen-sharing session.
Note: You cannot use the screen sharing feature if someone else is already sharing their screen or a video.
