To go to your profile, use one of the following methods:
• Tap your icon or name at the top of the Home tab.
• Tap your icon at the top right of LINE VOOM > your profile icon at the top of the screen > your profile icon at the top of the screen.

Turning off story posts about profile or cover photo updates
Updates to your profile or cover photo are posted to your story by default. If you don't want an update to be shared in your story, uncheck Share to stories at the bottom of the photo editing screen.

About status messages
Your status message is a space for sharing your thoughts and feelings on LINE. You can let everyone know how you're doing, or check your friends' status messages from your friend list.
To set your status message:
1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Profile.
2. Tap Status message.
3. Enter a message, then tap Save.
To go to the Status message settings on your smartphone, tap here.
When you set or change your status message, it will be posted to your story. If you don't want your status message to be shared in your story, uncheck Share to stories on the entry screen.

About profile decorations
The Decorate profile feature lets you use different items to add flair to your profile and give it your own unique spin.
Note: This feature is not available on iPhones prior to the 6s/6s Plus models and Android devices with Intel x86 CPUs (e.g. some ASUS ZenFone series devices). For information about the CPU your device uses, please contact the retailer where you purchased it.
You can decorate your profile with the following items.
• Profile themes
Choose a theme for your profile. Even with a theme selected, you can add/edit a cover photo and decoration items.
• Stickers
Add emoji or the stickers you own to your profile.
Note: You can use the stickers listed below.
- LINE and BT21 official stickers
- Creators' stickers
- Custom stickers
- Message stickers
- Effect stickers
• Widgets
The following widgets are available.
- Counter: Display the date of a special event or the number of days left until it happens.
- Photo frame: Frame your photos and hang them on your profile.
- Social media links: Add links to your other social media accounts.
• Text
Add text to your profile in the color and style of your choice.
• Effects
Select an effect and apply it to your entire profile background or use it to doodle.

Decorating your profile
To decorate your profile:
1. Tap your icon or name at the top of the Home tab.
2. Tap Decorate.
3. Choose the items that you want to use and decorate your profile.
4. Tap Save.
You can edit the items you added by tapping them > the pencil icon.
To delete decorated items, tap an item > "X" or Remove all at the top of the screen > Remove.
When you decorate your profile, it will be posted to your story. If you don't want your profile decoration to be shared in your story, uncheck Share to stories at the bottom of the Decorate screen.

Changing your cover photo
Give your profile some extra personality by adding a cover photo.
To change your cover photo:
1. Tap your profile icon at the top of the Home tab.
2. Tap your cover photo.
3. Tap Edit at the top of the screen > Open camera, Select photo or video, or Decorate profile.
4. After making the necessary edits, tap Done or Save.
Note: Decorate profile will appear on iPhone 6s/6s Plus and newer devices. For details about the Decorate profile feature, see this Help article.
If you want to set a video, you need to trim it and choose which part of the video you want to play.
Whenever you set or change your cover photo, it will be posted to your story. If you don't want your cover photo to be shared in your story, uncheck Share to stories on the editing screen.

Viewing friends' profiles
You can view a friend's profile using one of the following methods.
• Tap the friend’s name in your friend list.
• In a chat, tap the friend's icon or their name at the top of the screen.

Setting your birthday
If you register your birthday and choose to show it, your friends will be able to see it in your profile.
When your birthday is near, it will be displayed in Notifications in the Home tab so your friends can send you birthday cards and gifts.
Note: Your birthday information will not appear to people on your LINE VOOM following/followers lists who are not your LINE friends.
To set your birthday:
1. Tap the Home tab > Settings >Profile.
2. Tap Birthday.
3. Set your birthday and tap Done.
Note: If you don't want to display your birthday, turn OFF Show my birthday.

Changing display names or your profile photo
Changing your display name
1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Profile.Note: Tap here to access your profile from your smartphone.
2. Tap Display name.
3. Enter a new display name, then tap Save.
Changing a friend's display name
1. Go to your friend list.2. Tap the friend whose name you want to change.
3. Tap the pencil icon next to their display name.
4. Enter a name and tap Save.
Changing your profile photo
1. Tap your icon or name at the top of the Home tab.Note: Tap here to access your profile from your smartphone.
2. Tap your profile photo.
3. Tap Edit at the top of the screen.
4. Tap Open camera or Select photo or video.
Note: You can choose from a variety of content offered in Profile Studio to set as your profile photo. For more details, see these Help articles about AlphaCrewz and AI Selfie.
5. Edit the photo or video any way you like, then tap Done.
Note:
- You cannot change your friends' profile photos.
- On some Android devices, only still images can be set as your profile photo.
When you update your profile photo, it will be posted to your story. If you want to turn off posts to your story, see this Help article.

Setting an Avatar as your profile
You can set an Avatar you created as your profile using one of the methods below.
Setting an Avatar from your profile
1. Tap the Home tab > your icon or display name at the top of the screen.2. Tap Avatar.
3. Tap Open AlphaCrewz.
4. Install the AlphaCrewz app and sign up for the service.
Note: You only need to do this the first time you follow these steps.
5. Follow the instructions in the AlphaCrewz app and create an Avatar.
6. Return to your LINE profile settings, make any additional changes, and then tap Done.
Setting an Avatar from your Settings
1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Profile.2. Tap Set profile icon and cover > Use Avatar.
3. Tap Open AlphaCrewz.
4. Install the AlphaCrewz app and sign up for the service.
Note: You only need to do this the first time you follow these steps.
5. Follow the instructions in the AlphaCrewz app and create an Avatar.
6. Return to your LINE profile settings, make any additional changes, and then tap Done.

About AI Selfie
AI Selfie is a paid service that automatically generates images in various styles based on photos you select.
Note:
- AI Selfie can be used with LINE version 13.7.0 and later. Update LINE to the latest version here.
- AI Selfie cannot be used on iPads.
- AI Selfie is unavailable in the United States.
LINE Coins are needed to generate images.
Note: For the steps to purchase LINE Coins, see this Help article.
Generated images can be set as your LINE profile photo and shared with friends.
Follow the steps below to generate and use AI Selfie images.
2. Tap Profile Studio > Create images under AI Selfie.
3. Tap Start now.
4. After checking the Photo guide, agree to the Terms of Use and policy outlined in Regarding Use of Information, then tap Select 10-20 photos.
5. Select between 10 to 20 photos, then tap Choose.
6. Select a gender for your generated images, then tap Next.
7. Select an image package, then tap Next.
Note: Please purchase more Coins if you don't have enough.
8. Check the details of your purchase, then tap Confirm purchase.
You'll receive a completion message from the Service Messages official account when your images have finished being generated.
• Tapping See images in the Service Messages official account message.
• Tapping the Home tab > your icon or name at the top of the screen > Profile Studio > the silhouette icon at the top of the screen.
