Notification basics
You can make detailed adjustments to your settings, such as the appearance of the screen showing notifications, your notification sound, and muting notifications for just a certain time.

Basic notification settings
> Notifications.

2. Tap Sound.
3. Choose your preferred notification sound.

2. At the top of the screen, turn Notifications and Notification settings ON.
3. Tap Add LINE notification sounds to device.
Note: Depending on the device, the Add LINE notification sounds to device option may not appear.
4. Tap Message notifications and turn Show notifications ON.
5. Tap Sound and select a notification sound.
Useful info
- You cannot change the notification sounds for individual group or 1-on-1 chats.
- The notification sound set for the device may play instead of the LINE notification sound.
- To delete the LINE notification sounds added to your device, tap Remove LINE notification sounds from device.

2. Tap Mute, then select either Mute for one hour or Mute until 8 am.
To restart notifications, tap Mute, then select Unmute or Off.

2. Turn Message previews ON or OFF.
To configure pop-up notification display settings:
1. Tap your device's Settings > Notifications.
2. Tap LINE in your list of apps.
3. Adjust the settings you want to change.
Useful info
The profile icons of users that send you messages will appear in pop-up notifications on iOS 15 or later. If you want to hide user profile icons in pop-up messages, turn Show profile icons OFF.
Note: These steps and labels may differ depending on your OS version and device.
To configure it on your device:
1. On your device, tap Settings.
2. Tap Security & location.
3. Under Device Security, tap Lock screen preferences.
4. Select any lock screen notification settings other than "Don't show notifications at all."
To configure it in LINE:
1. Tap the Home tab >
> Notifications.
Note: Tap here to go to Settings from your smartphone.
2. At the top of the screen, make sure that Notifications and Notification settings are turned ON.
3. Tap Message notifications.
4. Configure each of the following settings:
• Turn Show notifications ON.
• Tap Importance and select Medium or over.
• Tap Lock screen and select anything other than Don't show notifications at all.

Changing the display of pop-up notifications
You can set whether to show LINE message previews on your device's screen when you receive a notification.iOS

Android
To display message notifications on your device's lock screen, you need to turn lock screen preferences ON in your device's Settings, and then turn LINE notifications ON. For the detailed steps, please see below.Note: These steps and labels may differ depending on your OS version and device.
